From 1988, I stayed ten years in the United States, captivated by Manhattan, bursting with creativity and economic discernment, that we wonder: what is it useful for ?... I returned to France at 35 years old as a sort of an exploration. In Educational sciences, I visited the subject of reasoned autobiography, to become an adult trainer. I access ethnographic field studies and apply it to reportage and interviews, using different postures in narration for content as much verbal as visual. Between words and images, in a multimedia projection, I coordinate an interdisciplinary approach with sound, visuals and writing. This initiative evolves from discrete signature voices into a collective work with a unique narrative voice, by omitting the usual narrative strategy of "who speaks", "who is at the origin of the story", and "who narrates".
Simultaneoously, I start my technical-artistic activity in printing with a first book. I commercialized it through forty bookstores. During a cultural and artistic call for projects for the 2013 Normandy Impressionism Festival, I proposed an essay about contemporary concordances between photography and impressionnist painting. The follow up was a photographic, multimedia and book production, benefiting media relations. My other artistic activities resulted in an increased range of these cultural products, both in physical and internet distribution.
Another multimedia narration between words and images was projected through an arthothèque ( art-loaning library). My writing in the first person singular expressed a subjective anchoring between sequences of animated images. At the 2015 Festival Marée des Mots ("The Spring Tides of Words"), my writing's intention, between imagination and reality, facing natural and human phenomena in reportage was presented. Exploring the ethics in narrative journalism, I adapted a direct narrative posture by verbally interacting with the subjects in an eight-minute short film.
I revisit the autobiography in educational sciences and literary ones. I observe how much in the name of the truth, the autobiographic pact has been much written about, and has not been reserved to the famous of this world. With the literary evocation of self-fiction (opposing autobiography), I change the fiction of my character with fewer illusions facing my own truth. The pact of the self-fiction is biographic and puts in perspective around the meetings, and experiments, such as around a crowd in short film, a proposal to blend in, without merging however, in the figure of oneself and mine.
The writing of Self makes a short biographical story from fragments of contemporary verbal, musical, visual languages. The digital publishing is a protean advantage, in the internet era, when the chalenges of publishing (what is shared as well in paper publishing) lie in wholeness of a book between images and words.
